Post subject: Market personality - different times of the year
PostPosted: Mon Jul 20, 2009 8:15 pm
Hi Caj (or anyone with thoughts on this....)

I remember reading somewhere on this site about what to expect from the market at different times of the year. ie.. July - Sept = slow = expect chopping etc.

Can you point me in the right direction for this post, or provide the info again if such info exists?

For eg. (this following bit may not be true but used as an example of detail that would be useful) - "from July to Sept, market more often than not makes a significant move pre-lunch, then chops till one last big move around 3:40. Reason being institutional traders want to hit the Hamptons so they finish up early.. or whatever...."

More detail the better!

Thanks,

TAP.....
