Official Room Calls: 3/3 trades green for 18.8 total points ( +4.8=[3/5 * (2/3*10 + 1/3*4)], +8, +6) or +6.27 points per trade per contract.
Note: This is a little funky, the opening range breakout/breakdown trade uses 3 contracts opposed to 5 contracts in the track record and scales out 2/3, 1/3 so first the total points for that trade needed to be determined (2/3*10 points + 1/3*4 points = 8 points) and then multipled by 3/5 to weight it equally to the other trigger trades.
All of our Official Room Calls occured in the morning session and all were profitable. We expected a chop day today, having gotten a nice trend day the previous day (Friday of last week). We got it. Note, however, that on chop days there is still the potential of strong trending moves, such as the one we saw in late deadzone and the afternoon. Extreme fades, especially near the end of lunch, need to be approached with proper analysis (knowing the filter bias and a good reading of the ticks for example) and caution. All of the strategies we follow worked today. The openiing range breakout/breakdown trade, gap trade (we follow and analyze this setup but do not call gap trades as Room Calls) and our trigger trades all made money.
So far Alex has called his trades 152 correct out of 192 trades, with 1 BE trade. Great work today Alex!
