Hello,

Here is my latest update with emulation of Alex setup for NinjaTrader. Alex uses TradeStation and I attempt to simulate the charts layout and indicators according to his rules. You might need to adjust the starting time of the charts according to your time zone. They are currently set for EST. The workspace is squeezed so you may open it even on small monitor and adjust it to you favorite setup. I attached 2 formats: xml - workspace and ntbk - backup.

Newest update #7:
Improved colors on the "tape" T&S window (more consistent with candle colors)
Added 6 EMA to 89T chart and removed Keltner Channel

Previous updates:
More visible colors on SuperDOM
STO update in real time on most charts
ATR adjusted
Price tags from prior day removed on ES
Second T&S with filtering
• Added daily chart based on 1440 min, since some data feeds including ZenFire will not have daily data available.
• Added level II as the additional tape reading aid.
• HeikenAshi on 89T and 1min are adjusted to calculate on bar close so you can see the direction before the bar closes. HA charts in NinjaTrader are not going to be identical with TradeStation due to small difference in software algorithms.
• Remove price tags on prior days OHLC to make a distinction with current day on 8 min chart.
• All charts and other elements are linked in green group so changing instrument in SuperDom will update all the components
Updated SMA and Keltner on 3min, 15min, 60min changed to update not on the bar close, so it reacts faster . Colors of the candles and HeikenAshi with more contrasting colors. Slight cosmetic change but it is easier on eyes and more visible. Added volume with color coded direction, adjusted the length of back data on few charts, few cosmetic tweaks. The main is elimination of the toolbars and scroll bars. You can always turn them on in individual charts if needed. I don't use them anymore and in my opinion they use too much space. Scrolling and zooming can be done with mouse and all the instructions are in NT help. All the functions are accessible from right click menu on each chart and additionally with keyboard shortcuts. The amount of back data on each chart varies, and I try to keep it small to speed up startup and loading different instruments. Most of the charts are synchronized so they change instruments together as group.

First copy the workspaces to locations below.
• The workspaces for WinXP are located at:
\My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\workspaces
• Vista folder is here:
\Users\Administrator\Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\workspaces

Backup version installation:
In Control Center open File/Utilities/Restore and import the backup from the folder where you saved it.

Next open the workspace from Control Center in NinjaTrader.
8 min chart is designed to watch MaxSpan, Pivots, Prev Day OHLC, and Current Day OHLC etc. You will need to input manually numbers into MaxSpan indicator. Just check the first 15min bar on 15min chart (high, low). Numbers for Pivots indicator (prev day high, low, closed) for YM and ES chart are available at http://www.mypivots.com/dn/ Copy and past them in "current" field. You will only need the previous HLC.

8min and ES charts run only from 9:30AM-4:15PM to give accurate calculations. Rest of the charts run 9:30AM-9:30AM to give accurate indicator readings and for overnight trading. Notice HeikenAshi candles on 1min and 89T. You may add parabolic SAR to some charts for visual reference. I simplified setup to one monitor version which is extra squeezed for 1280x1024 resolution. Simply customize the layout to your needs and multiple monitors by yourself by moving and stretching charts. I use only indicators included in NinjaTrader so you won't need to worry about proprietary indicators missing on your platform.
Remember that right click on any part of the setup will give you custom menu.

It will help you to learn the keyboard shortcuts for charts to access indicators (ctrl+I), format data series (ctrl+F), chart properties (ctrl+T) or double click on chart. Drawing tools have keyboard shortcuts as well.
Here are shortcuts for ordering in the SuperDom:

• Left click for LMT - limit
• Middle click for SLM - stop limit
• Ctrl+middle click for STP - stop
• Right click for menu
There are many other indicators available in Ninja and on the Ninja forum. I recommend to keep them as simple as possible since Alex methods don't require extra complications. Rather solid knowledge of the market.

Tick, Trin, Adv/Decl charts are not included since they require a separate feed not available in ZenFire that I use. Alex posts these indicators often in the room so you will not necessarily need them as long as you stay with PureTick.
You can get free real-time feed for QuoteTracker if you are a customer of major trading brokerage online (E*trade etc). This will allow you to get charts for $TICK, $TRIN, and more! I have been using QuoteTracker with E*trade for a while and it works great.
I use ZenFire due to great speed and reliability of this free feed with Mirus futures. I quit using strategies in Ninja last year since they did not help me with timing and precision needed for Alex methods and scaling contracts. Since then I am totally satisfied with free Ninja version. It minimizes the payments only to exchange fees. Ninja is coming out with version 7 soon with added over 300 new futures. As soon as it is released I will design a new layout.

Let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, improvements. We can exchange charts and workspaces as well. I hope this will help you with your trading and give you a jump start for successful learning with PureTick!

Please let me know if you have any questions. Warm regards and see you in the room,
