Official Room Calls: 4/6 trades green for a total of +13.8 points (-11, +10.8=[3/5 * (2/3*10 + 1/3*34)], -10, +10, +8, +6) or +2.3 points per trade per contract.
It was tough going in the morning as the S1 and S3 levels were not respected due the ferocious sell-off, and our first two Official Room Call triggers (to play the support bounces) took stops. Subsequent trigger signals were all profitable, even in the afternoon which was choppy sideways. MaxSpan (opening 15 min range breakout/breakdown strategy trade) capitalized on the strong downtrend and produced good gains. Strongly trending days tend to be tougher for triggers and good for MaxSpan and choppy days tough for MaxSpan and good for triggers, which makes MaxSpan a good tool and hedge of sorts for your trading arsenal.
