A lot of users have asked how Geoff & Alex ended up meeting.  Here is the brief boring background on that:

Geoff Preston (Dragon Breath aka Cajunsniper) was your typical newbie trader.  He spent hours on end reading every book he could get his hands on, chasing entries, seeking the "holy grail" with new trading systems and chasing false prophets with hard earned capital.  Alex & Geoff met awhile ago in an online day trading chat room and would discuss their daily trades and strategies. Since Alex was a professional and doing so well, Geoff suggested that he share his knoweledge and expirenece of the market with other struggling newbies.  Geoff worked hard for months to make this happen. Securing, servers, domains, web art. Over a year later PureTick is operational and helping new day traders get on their feet.  We all share the common desire to help new traders turn a profit while also learning to, ourselves, become more consistent and skillful in our own trading.  Alex has agreed to help with that goal as well as all the members of our group. We endeavor to use our experiences, both good and bad, to assist new traders in substantially cutting their learning curve in terms of time and costs. Come experience the clarity and trade side by side with Geoff & Alex in the live audio/video trading pit.

Brief list of Jason's Exploits (Co Administrator)

* Jason graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Engineering with a degree in Computer Science.
* He has worked in the computer IT industry for 10 years doing either software development, computer IT consulting (contract programming) or test engineering.
* Jason first developed an interest in how to better invest in the stock market, due to his employee stock purchase plan and 401k contributions being heavily pummeled in the early 2000's.  Like many newbies, Jason was late to the game in entering the stock market (newbies will buy at the peak and sell in panic near the bottom) and did not know what he was in for.
* In 2001 Jason became a stock enthusiast and started picking stocks from newspapers to invest in, much to his personal account's dismay.  No one warned him that the stock game is rigged.
* Jason quit his job in 2003 to trade full time.
* Jason has done much soul searching in terms of trading systems, which includes jumping around from one subscription service or chat room to the next.  Why isn't anything working?  It finally dawned on him that becoming a successful professional trader would be a long, hard road and would require the utmost patience and diligence.  Nothing will work unless you use it right.  Day trading is just about as difficult as trying to fend off a hungry lion with a butter knife.
* Jason is currently devoting full time to day trading the YM (Dow emini futures).
