I joined Puretick in August 2007.  At that time, I was working 40+ hours in auto assembly; learning to trade in the mornings, and working steady afternoons.  Afternoon shift was canceled, so I had to leave Puretick and work steady days.  Came back to Puretick in April of 2008, and plan on remaining as an active member, for as long as they will have me.
 
Been helping other traders that use esignal to set up their charts, via teamviewer, for about 6 months now.  When setting up their charts, I closely emulate what Alex watches, so the new Pureticker can be up to speed first day in the room.  I've developed my own style with the foundation Alex provides, and I've been quite successful scalping the 89t chart in conjunction with heiken ashi.  (which is a free download available on the site.)
 
Many in the room have spoken with me at some point in time; I try to encourage and inspire fellow traders with my honesty and personal success.  Alex sets a solid foundation for us - all we have to do is listen, stay hungry, and remain positive that we will succeed - our mindset can make or break us.  Success won't come to those that bail after the 10 day trial.  It will come to those that devote themselves to the learning process, and that is what we are here for.

Geoff  was your typical newbie trader.  He spent hours on  reading every book he could get his hands on, chasing entries, seeking the "holy grail" with new trading systems and chasing false prophets with hard earned capital.  Alex & Geoff met 6 years ago in an online day trading chat room and would discuss their daily trades and strategies. Since Alex was a professional and doing so well, Geoff suggested that he share his knoweledge and expirenece of the market with other struggling newbies.  Geoff worked hard for months to make this happen. Securing, servers, domains, web art. Over a year later PureTick is operational and helping new day traders get on their feet.  We all share the common desire to help new traders turn a profit while also learning to, ourselves, become more consistent and skillful in our own trading.  Alex has agreed to help with that goal as well as all the members of our group. My interest in the stock market began when I was 18 years old.  I was the night stocker at Fred Meyer (a local grocery store) and would take my break at 5 AM.  I would watch some random news program that had a ticker on the bottom.  So, I began writing the ticker symbols down and went home to look them up.  I joined a random independent broker and some random free chat room.  In this chat room, there was a man who made trading look so easy; every trade was a winner, so it seemed. 
After realizing it was much more difficult than it appeared, my interest exploded and I began living and breathing the stock market and much more importantly, the psychology of supply and demand.
For four years, I was a personal financial analyst for a very large company and have seen the many tricks of the retail side of investing.  I had joined that company to gain further knowledge and skills for trading.  Deciding that sales wasn’t what I was looking for in a job, I went on with my odd jobs in hopes of finding the next Holy Grail and becoming a master trader.

After floundering around through small account, after small account and chat room to chat room, I stumbled across puretick.com in the fall of 2007.  I was in the room for about 2 months before blowing out yet another small account.
After life changing events in my family life, I decided that it was time for me to step up to the plate and stop making excuses as to why I was not in the profession in which I wanted to be… A PROFESSIONAL FUTURES DAY TRADER!

I came back to Puretick in early 2010 and decided to make one last attempt at living my dream.  I began falling into the same INSANITY in my trading practices and once again became so frustrated I was about to quit.
Being the professional that Alex is, and through tough love (and respect), he had to tell me what my ego didn’t want to hear.  “GO ON SIM for at least 7 days.”

hose were possibly the best words of advice I have ever received, it was my hidden Holy Grail.  I then set up a meeting with PGB (Ayal), one of our advisors with Puretick.  Upon talking with PGB, we came to the actualization that I knew the set ups, the trades, and the money management side of trading, but something was still missing, THE LACK OF DISCIPLINE was the cause of my trading insanity.  We pin pointed the fact that I was trading with emotion, which is the one ingredient of markets that ensure losses.
With taking that into consideration, I began to religiously trade on the simulator, solely to focus on disciplined, non-emotion based trading and money management.  Slowly, I added live trades with one contract to the full time SIM trading.  Eventually, I got over the fear of putting on a trade and hesitation. 

I am now successfully trading multiple contract positions profitably and truly believe that with the correct guidance and mentorship, and simulator, I can help anyone become the best trader possible.
I look forward to helping you reach your true potential as a trader.  My motto:  WHEN IN DOUBT, GO ON SIM.
