Thank you for registering for the PureTick open house.  Our mission at PureTick.com is quite simply to significantly improve the unsuccessful traders chances of survival. Our priority is stock index futures trading with a secondary application to individual equities. Our my main goal is to teach traders to acquire the skills and discipline to trade for themselves. Open house users will have full access to the live trading room on Monday 7/2/2007.  This is a good chance to sit in and listen to what we're doing.  Please do not trade any of the alerts in your cash account without fully reviewing our methodology and trading alert system first. If your new to futures, we'll be posting a live simulator link which you can use during the trading day.  If PureTick looks like something you may be interested in exploring, you may sign up for a full 10 day trial at any time. One day is not enough time to learn a new methodology, but it does give you a chance to see what we're about.

Remember OFFICIAL calls are only made by AlexLW  & CajunSniper in the room! !

 ****** Uses--please do NOT send private messages to ALEX between  9:30am -12:00, and 14:00 - 16:00 EST. These are the times Alex concentrates on the setups and charts. Distractions are not helpful. Send all issues to CajunSniper.  If you send a message to Alex during this you will be EJECTED from the room.

LOGIN/SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:


The PureTick.com live trading room is hosted on a protected HotComm server.  (this will c0st you nothing)  You should download and install the HotComm CL software in order to join us in the room!  The link for the software is below.  There is a java web based version of our room that requires no install, however it is severely delayed and not as pleasing to the eye. The audio quality on the java version is lower.  Unless your on a network that doesn't allow you to install software, we recommend using the stand alone client below: (20 second download.)  The web-based install link is listed below.

  1. Download and install HotComm CL from http://www.puretick.com/hclsetuprelay.exe

If you get WINDOWS XP FIREWALL MESSAGE please click UNBLOCK

  1a. When it asks you 'Would you like to add short cuts to your desktop for rooms you connect to often' click YES

  1b. When you get asked for a RELAY SERVER, type the following (if you don't get asked this dont worry):

                 Relay

  When you get asked for ROOM, type the following:

                 PureTick        (case SENSITIVE, don't use puretick or PURETICK, dont use a space between Pure and Tick)

  1c. "Would you like to ad another room shortcut" answer NO!

  2. When you reach the "Your HotComm CL Identity" window, enter your PureTick web site user name and email address that you registered with us. This is the same user name you use to access www.puretick.com/member

  3. Always check to ensure that HotComm is active in your task bar. If HotComm is active, you will see a red and blue headphone icon near the clock in your system tray at the bottom right hand corner of your screen. If you do not see this icon, click on the red, white, blue and yellow HotComm icon on your desktop labeled HotComm CL. It will flash once and then you should see the red and blue headphone icon near the clock in your system tray in the bottom right hand corner of your screen.

  4. Once it's installed you can click on the link it made on your DESKTOP that says 'Connect to PureTick on Relay'

  5. The room will ask you for a PASSWORD. The session password for the open house is 5785

The java version that does not require you to install any software can be found here.  It is available for those who are not permitted to install software on their machine or at a remote location. Please do not use this version unless absolutely necessary. If you do decide to, you've been warned.
