Almost every day I receive emails, telephone calls or private messages from
traders who have read the JumpStart Guide, my E-book, or the A-Z guide.
There is always something they feel is not perfectly clear!

And each time, I am tempted to revise them and send out new versions to fit
the explanation to the client who needs one.

This tends to make me wonder if the book was not clear from the beginning.
Am I a bad writer?

Well, looking back to high school and college, I remember the numerous text
books that I had to buy. And, guess what? Nothing within the pages were
“clear”. If it was, I would have had an A in every subject just by simply
reading- going to class would’ve have been for attendance purposes only.

I could have tried all I wanted, but would never get the author of the books
to personally explain what he or she meant.

I had to rely on the teacher or professor. Yet how could they know what the
author meant? Again, another reason for a lack of straight A’s. I
concluded that in reality professors are, at best, interpreters and creative
guessers. They could only try to figure out what the authors’ meant. That is
why some teachers are better than others.

Possibly, that is how some of the best Universities have such quality
reputations. When you go to Harvard, the text book you shell out the big
bucks for has probably been written by the professor lecturing the class. If
you can’t understand the book, just raise your hand!

Sure, we sell Self-Study guides. But it never hurts to get personal
assistance! It makes the self-study go a little easier.

And if you think you pay a lot for this stuff, think again! How much do you
pay Harvard? And forget Harvard, the average person has to take out hefty
student loans to help them cover the cost for the nearest state college.

Class-A universities now offer a multitude of online courses. You still have
to purchase the text book and tuition, then sign into an online
“blackboard”, and participate in virtual class discussion boards. You are
expected to read and study at your own pace; but there is accountability.
You must log in, turn in assignments by the given due dates, post input to
the discussion boards… then, your professor is able to provide you with a
grade in Sociology from the comfort of her home office.

You have access to the author at PureTick. But please don’t expect me to
rewrite the books every time I elaborate on an answer. This isn’t a
university book store; we prefer to keep the cost of our material down to a
reasonable level and can’t do that if we need to release new editions every
few months.
