You Should Not Care!

Jumping around from site to site. Method to method WILL NOT HELP YOU!

The sad truth is.........

So many traders we see fall under the same pattern of going around from one advisor site to the next.  Trying their methods for a few months, losing money and then moving on to the next great thing (we've all been there)  This is not the way to learn to trade.  It's imperative you stick with one or TWO setups at the max and one market  (AAPL, DIA, YM, CORN).  You must give your mind a chance to get the know the rhythm of a market and time to properly get efficient at executing your plan.  What one trader or guru is successful at may not fit your personality at all.  There are hundreds of setups and missed opportunity at every turn. You can't trade them all.  Please do not disregard this advice. All 3 of the founders of this site had to go through these same mistakes before becoming profitable. We want you to succeed and encourage any positive postings or stories you've had since coming to the site.

Most trading is not an action packed event. You will spend most of your day waiting.  We suggest having many small distractions to keep you from over trading.  The TTW trading system we developed and practice on this site takes patience. Some days you only get 3 trade signals.  But on average they are 85% profitable. I'm sure you much rather be in the market 30 minutes and have your daily profit goal, then constantly trading in and out all day long just to finish with the same amount of points.

Give your methods wide enough stops to play out, and enough days (at least 20 without deviating from the plan) to test profitability.  For more on this issue and the mental aspects of sticking with your plan, please glance over a copy of Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas.  These themes and so much more are covered in the book.
